Privacy Policy for Birdies Badminton Academy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Birdies Badminton Academy mobile application (package name com.arikx.birdiesbadmintonacademy) published for Android users. The app is intended for authorized academy owners, coaches, and linked student accounts at Birdies Badminton Academy.

Birdies Badminton Academy is the app named in this policy. ARIKX develops and maintains the app and related Firebase backend services for academy management.

Account and sign-in information: when an approved user signs in with email and password, the app may receive the user's name, email address, Firebase user identifier, academy role, and membership status.

Notification information: if notifications are enabled, the app may collect and store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so academy notices and operational alerts can be sent to the correct device.

Academy operational information: authorized users may enter or view student names, ages, skill levels, batch assignments, attendance records, fee amounts, payment status and history, parent or guardian contact details, emergency notes, coach profiles, academy notices, payment settings, and related timestamps.

Device and usage information: the app and backend may process technical information such as app version, request metadata, authentication status, and error details needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

Local device storage: the app stores authentication session data on the device so signed-in users can stay authenticated between sessions.

The app does not request access to precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, or advertising identifier permissions.

The app is not directed at children under 13 to sign up on their own. Student profiles for minors may be managed by authorized academy staff or linked student accounts as part of academy operations.

We use collected information to authenticate users, assign roles, operate academy workflows including batches, attendance, fees, and notices, send relevant notifications, provide support, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and maintain business records for Birdies Badminton Academy.

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be visible to authorized Birdies Badminton Academy owners, coaches, and students according to their roles in the app.

We use Google Firebase services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and related Google Cloud infrastructure to provide authentication, data storage, hosting, and notifications.

If a user opens an external link such as a payment or contact URL through the device browser, that interaction is handled by the chosen destination outside the app.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the academy, ARIKX, app users, or the public.

We use secure authentication, Firebase security rules, HTTPS-based API communication, and role-based access to help protect app data.

Access to academy data is limited to approved users. However, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Account records are retained while a user needs access to academy workflows, unless deletion is requested or required. Academy administrators can remove student or coach access where appropriate.

Deleted student records may be kept in a recoverable state for up to 30 days before permanent removal, where academy administrators use the in-app deleted-students workflow.

To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact info@arikx.com. We will review the request and process it according to account role, academy record obligations, and applicable law.

You can disable app notifications from Android system settings. Some notice or alert features may not work as expected if notifications are disabled.

You can sign out from the app to clear local session access on the device.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, backend services, data practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
