Privacy Policy for RK Fuels

This Privacy Policy applies to the RK Fuels mobile application published for Android users. The app is intended for authorized RK Fuels station owners, managers, administrators, and staff members.

RK Fuels is the app named in this policy. ARIKX develops and maintains the app and backend services for the RK Fuels operational workflow.

Account and sign-in information: when you sign in with Google, the app may receive your name, email address, Google account profile picture, Google authentication token, Firebase user identifier, role, approval status, station assignment, and access request details.

Notification information: if notifications are enabled, the app may collect and store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so access requests and operational alerts can be sent to the correct authorized device.

Station operational information: authorized users may enter or view fuel stock, opening and closing readings, pump-wise sales, staff or salesman names and codes, payments, collections, credit customer names, credit transactions, fuel prices, inventory records, delivery records, attendance data, reports, approvals, review notes, and related timestamps.

Device and usage information: the app and backend may process technical information such as app version, request metadata, authentication status, error details, and security logs needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

Local device storage: the app stores authentication tokens and basic user session data on the device so signed-in users can stay authenticated. When a user chooses to download or share a report, CSV report files may be saved locally or shared through the Android share sheet.

The app does not request access to precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, or advertising identifier permissions.

The app is not designed for children and is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

We use collected information to authenticate users, review staff access requests, assign roles and permissions, protect station records, operate fuel station workflows, generate reports, send relevant notifications, provide support, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and maintain business records for RK Fuels.

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be visible to authorized RK Fuels administrators, managers, and staff according to their roles in the app.

We use Google services including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase/Google Cloud backend services, and Google Sign-In to provide authentication, secure storage, hosting, and notifications.

If email notifications are configured, limited access request details may be sent through an email service provider to notify the station administrator.

If a user exports or shares a report, the selected file and related report contents are handled by the destination chosen by the user, such as the device downloads folder, email app, messaging app, or another installed sharing destination.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of RK Fuels, ARIKX, app users, or the public.

We use secure authentication, HTTPS-based API communication, Firebase-backed access controls, JSON Web Tokens, and role-based authorization to help protect app data.

Access to operational data is limited to approved users and administrators. However, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Account records are retained while a user needs access to RK Fuels workflows, unless deletion is requested or required. Administrators can remove staff access where appropriate.

Operational records such as sales, stock, fuel readings, credits, payments, attendance, reports, approvals, and audit timestamps may be retained for business, accounting, audit, security, and legal purposes.

To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact info@arikx.com. We will review the request and process it according to account role, business record obligations, and applicable law.

You can disable app notifications from Android system settings. Some access request or operational alert features may not work as expected if notifications are disabled.

You can sign out from the app to clear local session access. If you use Google Sign-In, you may also manage connected app access through your Google account settings.

Downloaded or shared reports are controlled by the user and the destination app or device storage selected during export.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, backend services, data practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
